An impressive career can conceal some of the darkest stories beneath. A winner of both the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after plenty of effort and enormous amount of perseverance. Also, she was a part of the winning team of 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles event in the years 2003 and in 2004. Jones started her career in 2005 after she completed her bachelor's degree. Jones began training to prepare for a career in track. Jones took home the Torino Memorial in 2005, as well as Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.

Brandt moved to Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the at the end of her teenage years. The talent of Brandt was discovered in Auckland through the local casting director Brandt.
